Video: Fancy a quick skate around the Assen TT circuit?

So at the moment, from a British point of view, it’s wet and miserable outside but we can still ride because it’s fairly mild – so bear a thought for our Dutch brothers who are currently coated in thick ice.

So thick is the frozen stuff at the moment that the wonderful Assen circuit is more like a skate rink.

So much so that the lads over there have had to ditch their bikes in favour of skates and ice-bikes. As this video taken yesterday shows – bless them. Wonder if there can be a brief championship set-up for a couple of rounds of ice-bikes at the moment? Reckon Stuart Higgs, the Series Director of British Superbikes might be interested in sending over some British lads to take part?
